At each time, the scheduler of each network node selects a packet of packet flows to forward. Principle of selecting packets to transmit decides the rate of each flow. Because of the unpredictable traffic and possible outbreaks of the application in current IP networks, the bandwidth limitations of the packet flow to avoid affecting other flows and compensating bandwidth for the flow after error recovery remains problematic. On the basis MPWPS model [5], this paper proposes a solution to improve the effectiveness of the principle to limit and compensate bandwidth two features: 1) New periodical average rate estimating method for raising the efficiency of the bandwidth limitation mechanism; 2) Use the feedback control model to choose the weight adjustment parameter and to improve QoS compensation mechanism.Metrics
