About the Journal

Academia Journal of Biology (ISSN 2615-9023), formerly Tap chi Sinh hoc (Journal of Biology, ISSN 0866-7160), is a peer-reviewed international journal for rapid publication of articles on all aspects of biology. It has been published quarterly by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology since 1978. The journal welcomes three article types: original papers, review articles and short communications. Each manuscript will be reviewed by subject reviewers before acceptance.

Academia Journal of Biology commits to publishing rapidly every accepted manuscript, within 30 days after acceptance by the Editor-in-Chief.

New information about Academia Journal of Biology (ISSN 2615-9023)

The Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) published quarterly a peer-reviewed biological journal from 1978 until 2016 under the title of the Tap chi Sinh hoc (Journal of Biology, ISSN 0866-7160) in Vietnamese with English abstract. From 2017 until April 2020, VAST converted four issues/year of the Tap chi Sinh hoc into full English journal under the name of the Academia Journal of Biology (ISSN 2615-9023) which will be published quarterly by VAST as an official international biological journal fully in English.
