Online Submissions

Manuscripts including original and revised files should be submitted via the online system of the Academia Journal of Biology (AJB) (Login or Register).

On starting a submission to the Academia Journal of Biology, authors are asked to examine the Submission Checklist in the online Author Guidelines, under Submit paper tab. All the items in the list (as seen below) require a checkmark before authors can proceed with their submission, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines:

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• The submission files is in Microsoft Word document file format (Uploading the Submission).
• The Supplement file is in PDF file format (Add File, after the Submission file was uploaded).
• Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
• The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in Author guidelines.
• If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in ensuring a blind review have been followed.

Language

The language of all manuscripts is English.

For authors to index their work

Authors can use the online instruction to upload the main file ready for reviewing process in pdf format and any additional metadata.
