VAST Journals System (VJS) is a journal management and publishing system published by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).

VJS based on Open Journal Systems (OJS 3.X) with the target expand and improve publishing process.

    Communications in Physics

    The object of Communications in Physics is the publication of new theoretical and experimental research works in all fields of physics.

    Communications in Physics (CiP), ISSN 0886 - 3166 (print), ISSN 2815-5947 (online) founded by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has published quarterly in English since 1991. This journal has been highly evaluated in the regional and international scientific communities.

    Aims and Scope

    Vietnam Journal of Mechanics is a peer-review journal and published quarterly in English by Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, IMECH and Vietnam Association of Mechanics.

    Vietnam Journal of Mechanics publishes original research papers on the fundamental aspects of Mechanics such as Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Multi-body Mechanics, Mechanics of Particles and Systems and also on the other branches of Applied Mechanics. Novel theoretical and computational contributions are welcome. Vietnam Journal of Mechanics especially encourages papers on Experimental Mechanics and that are related to new aspects of Mechanics.

    The papers will be published as Invited Papers, Original Research and Short Communications. The Invited Papers are prepared on the invitation of the Editorial Board.

    Journal History

    The journal original started in 1979 and was named in Vietnamese “Tạp chí Cơ học” which means “Journal of Mechanics”. In 1998 the journal name was translated into English to “Vietnam Journal of Mechanics”, and this name has not been changed since 1998.

    Academia Journal of Biology (ISSN (print) 2615-9023, ISSN (online) 2815-5912), formerly Tap chi Sinh hoc (ISSN 0866-7160), is a peer-reviewed international journal for rapid publication of articles on all aspects of biology including: Biodiversity, biochemistry, biogeography, biophysics, biotechnology, botany, conservation, ecology, entomology, environment, evolution, fishery, genetics, herpetology, microbiology, mammalogy, morphology, ornithology, parasitology, physiology, systematics, taxonomy, and zoology. It has been published quarterly by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology since 1978. The journal welcomes three article types: original papers, review articles, and short communications. Each manuscript will be reviewed by confidential peer reviewers before acceptance. There are no author submission fees or other publication-related charges. All cost for the publication process is supported by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology

    Academia Journal of Biology commits to publishing rapidly every accepted manuscript, within 30 days after acceptance by the Editor-in-Chief.

    Aims and Scope

    Vietnam Journal of Biotechnology, (Vietnam J. Biotechnol.), ISSN (Print): 2815-5955; ISSN (Online): 2815-5912, formerly: Tạp chí Công nghệ Sinh học (Journal of Biotechnology), ISSN: 1811-4989, is a quarterly peer reviewed scientific journal, established by Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. It publishes original research papers, review or minireview articles and short communications in all aspects of biotechnology and related fields.

    Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics

    The Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics, created and published by Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, is Vietnam’s national journal in Computer Science and Cybernetics. The Journal is granted license by the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam.

    The Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics provides a forum for the dissemination of new research results in the fields of Computer Science and Cybernetics. The Journal presents high-quality, original contributions to the science and engineering of the fields Computer Science and Cybernetics, of authors inside and outside Vietnam.

    Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology

    Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology (VJST) was established in 1962. It has since evolved into an open-access and a peer-reviewed journal published by Publishing House for Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. The President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology decides to establish an Editorial Board on the basis of the Editor-in-chief's proposal. Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology provides funding for the operation and publication of VJST. The VJST publishes 6 issues per year, in February, April, June, August, October, and December. Special issues/Proceedings have not been published anymore. 

    Vietnam Journal of Science and Technology publishes research and review articles following five main fields: Natural Products; Materials; Environment; Electronics - Telecommunication; Mechanics & Engineering.

    The VJST is on a roadmap to publish articles online as soon as they are accepted from reviewers and section editors, check for duplication, check for plagiarism, edit content, edit publication and summarize. The Editor in Chief agrees to publish the article.

    Currently, the VJST publishes in both forms: print and electronic. 

    The journal starts publishing all articles in English since 2017.

    VJST provides open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

    Aim and Scope

    Vietnam Journal of Marine Science and Technology (p-ISSN 1859-3097, e-ISSN 2815-5904) publishes articles on results of basic research and investigations, applied research and development of new approaches and technologies in Vietnam and abroad in marine science and technology.
     
    The journal published articles in both Vietnamese and English from 2001 to 2021. From 2022, the journal publishes all articles in English.
     
    The papers will be published in 3 forms: Invited Papers, Original Research, and Short Communications. Invited Papers are submitted on the invitation of the Editorial Board.
     
     
     

    Publication Frequency

    Vietnam Journal of Marine Science and Technology publishes 4 issues per year, No. 1 issue in January-March, No. 2 issue in April-June, No. 3 issue in July-September, and No. 4 issue in October-December.

  • Vietnam Journal of Chemistry

    The Vietnam Journal of Chemistry is an official research journal of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Hanoi. It was founded in 1962 and has been publishing in Vietnamese and English ever since. It is strictly peer-reviewed and welcomes research Articles and Short Communications as well as Reviews covering both theoretical and experimental applications in all areas of chemistry.

    From 2019, the journal has switched to the web-based ScholarOne system for the submission and peer review of manuscripts, which makes the publication process more convenient and more efficient for authors, reviewers and editors.

    The Vietnam Journal of Chemistry is jointly published by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and Wiley-VCH, and is published in six issues per year. All issues are published in English.
