Abstract

Plumbago zeylanica L. is a medicinal plant that contains high levels of the active ingredient plumbgin. With the goal of creating raw materials in vitro, 20-minute disinfection time, 10% solution is the optimum level to create templates in vitro (41.29%), MS medium supplemented with 1.5 mg/L BA and 0.1 mg L IBA create optimal shoots (4.67 shoots/sample) after 4 weeks of culture. In vitro shoots developed into the best tree in each MS supplemented with 0.1 mg / L IBA. Two strains of Agrobacterium rhizogen ATCC-15834 and ATCC-11325 used for transgenic stimulation ofhairy roots from in vitro leaves. The initial results have been selected for hairy root 5 lines.
