Abstract

A series of substituted benzaldehyde hepta-O-acetyl-b-lactosyl thiosemicarbazones were synthesized by condensation reactions of hepta-O-acetyl-b-lactosyl thiosemicarbazide with corresponding substituted benzaldehydes. Structures of thiosemicarbazones were confirmed by spectroscopic (IR, NMR) methods.
